India has five main cruise ports: Mumbai, Goa, Cochin, Chennai, and Bengaluru. To improve cruise tourism, the tourism ministry has recently committed to building adequate infrastructure at these key locations. Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust and Mumbai Port Trust are Mumbai’s two primary marine ports. India’s busiest ports are the first. Port Mumbai caters to large cruise lines. Similarly, Cochin has served as a harbour for passenger and cargo ships since the fourteenth century. Goa and Chennai have seen a sharp increase in the number of cruise tourists visiting New Bengaluru Port.
